1st Choice have male and female instructors. Our instructors will give you expert tuition in modern teaching techniques with helpful modern flip colour presenters for your lesson briefs, so that you can see what you’re trying to achieve before actually putting it into practice.

1st Choice structure their lessons to follow the DSA Syllabus, we have visual aids such as FREE pupil handout sheets and have the availability of up to date theory test cd ROMs.

1st Choice provides a safe environment and teaches all pupils to understand the importance of 'safe driving for life' and not just to pass a test.

1st Choice can aid you with any difficulties with your Theory training at our Grimsby town centre office.

1st Choice will ensure that you’re driving lessons cover all the skills needed to pass your practical driving test, along with theory and hazard perception training should you require it. Pease be advised the theory test and hazard perception test is required before you take your practical test.

1st Choice offers low cost and competitive prices, all our instructors are passionate and you will receive 100% professional tuition with tailor made lessons to suit the needs of all students, from the shy, nervous to advanced students. The teaching methods we use take you the student into consideration and your ability to learn and understand the topics taught. We all know we learn at different speeds so we tailor the lesson to suit you. We also give you the opportunity to have 1hr, 1.5hr or 2hr lessons so that you are not restricted to having just 1 hr per lesson a week. We have found this to be a massive benefit to pupils and your pockets.

To become a 1st Choice Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and become a fully qualified DSA (Driving Standards Agency) approved driving instructors. You have to successfully complete and pass three strict tests set by the DSA.

Part 1 Theory and Hazard perception Test.

Part 2 Advanced Driving Test.

Part 3 Instructional Ability. Identifying a fully qualified driving instructor is very simple by the green Octagonal ADI badge that must be displayed in the left hand side of the windscreen.(Shown below)

There are also PDI trainee driving instructors and they display a PDI badge that must also be displayed in the left hand side of the windscreen, it is also very simple to identify by the pink triangle badge.

Please note a PDI trainee instructors has not yet completed and passed Part 3 Instructional Ability test and are still learning.

1st Choice will pick you up and drop you off wherever you request for example: - home, college, work, train station or even the high street to do some shopping before your lesson. The choice is yours and we work around your availability.
